Hanging Belly Part 2

Our stomach is the most difficult area to shed fat off. You might lose your thigh and shoulder fat easily but the tummy requires special attention.

Most stomach workouts target the upper and mid abdomen since they are relatively easier to shed fat storage from. The lower belly has the specific workout for a faster burn. Here are a few exercises which suit lower stomach burn the most.

1. Crunches

  • Lie on your back with hands behind your head
  • Bring your knees up, feet flat on the floor
  • Keeping your abdomen tight, raise your neck and head with the help of your hands
  • Exhale while lifting yourself
  • Bring yourself down and repeat 15 times in 3 reps

2. Flutter Kicks

  • Lie on the floor and keep your palms under your tailbone
  • Raise your legs and flutter them alternatively
  • Try doing this for 15 rounds in 3 reps

3. Criss Cross

  • Lie down with hands behind your head, elbows out
  • Raise your legs bent towards the stomach
  • Lift up your head towards your knees
  • Bring your left knee towards your torso and the right elbow close to it
  • Repeat again with alternative limbs
  • Try this for 15 counts in 3 reps

4. Double Leg Lifts

  • Lie down and put your palms underneath your tailbone
  • Lift your legs up to 90 degrees from the ground
  • Lower them slowly, without breaking to bend
  • Maintain their lean above the ground and lift again
  • Try this 10 times in 3 reps.

5. Vertical Leg Crunch

  • Lie on your back and bring your legs up
  • Intertwine them at the heels to keep balance
  • Bring your arms over your head and lift your upper body towards your raised legs
  • Bring down your head and repeat 10 times in 3 reps

6. Exercise Ball Crunch

  • Sit down at the edge of a gym ball
  • Roll forward with the help of your legs till the upper body leans back on the ball
  • Keep your arms behind the head and initiate crunches
  • Inhale while going back and exhale while crunching
  • Try this for 15 counts in 3 reps

These exercises are fat-burning and bring you in shape within no time.
