Many people suffer from bad mouth odour which is caused by imbalance in mouth bacteria. The common way you look to get rid of it by mouthwash or mints but this not a permanent solution.

Hydrate

Correct flossing after each meal consistently cuts down on plaque, bacteria and odour-causing food particles.

Clean Your Tongue

The coating that normally forms on your tongue is the main cause of smelly bacteria. Cleaning your tongue regularly to fight against halitosis bacteria.

If you are more comfortable using your toothbrush then reach the back of your tongue, try a scraper. It removes up to 96 per cent more odour causing bacteria to eliminate bad breath.

 

Mouthwash

It not only freshens your breath but also protect your mouth from bad bacteria. The fresh mint flavour is most preferable. But be sure the mouthwash you choose kills the germs that cause bad breath. Don’t just cover up the smell. Rinse daily with a good mouthwash and stop bad breath.

Eat Healthy

The foods like raw onions and garlic are common causes for bad breath. Such foods when ingested and excreted by the lungs cause halitosis.

Both acids and sugars increase production of bacteria and bad breath. Avoid foods like vinegar or high-fructose foods like sugary cereal. Instead, choose a diet that curbs intestinal upset and odour-causing bacteria.

Kick the tobacco habit.

Smoking not only causes cancer but also damages your gums, stain your teeth, and give you bad breath.

Keep your gums healthy.
