What could possibly replace a sweet blend of Apple Cider vinegar (ACV), maple syrup and a pinch of cayenne. This elixir is sure to rev up your everyday life!
All of us at some or the other point have heard of those benefits of ACV, turmeric and lemon water. We can definitely include lemon water in our daily life but how are we to include these other two ingredients in our schedule? Even though drinking ACV is not a child’s play, but it sure has great benefits which include lowering of blood sugar levels, helps with weight loss, kills bacteria and may even kill cancer cells.
Turmeric is also known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. To top these, there’s lemon water which aids in digestion, boosts energy and strengthen your immune system.
And if you try mixing them all, Viola! It seems to be the perfect fit for the sweet elixir to kick start your stressful day. It is a great substitute to those everyday bitter gourd drinks you take in to detoxify your body.
Also after taking all those junk, you need something to clean them up. This is exactly what it does. It might not be Starbucks great but it can sure be your own DIY great!
Here’s the proportion that works great for me:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup(you can increase the amount if you have a sweet tooth)
- 1 tablespoon ACV(the kind with ‘mother’ on it)
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Start with 1 teaspoon of ACV(if not this strong you can dilute it to match your taste buds!) And then work your way up. Cayenne pepper also helps body to absorb turmeric.
With all of these little benefits mixed together will definitely give you great amount of energy! It’s something that everyone can have though it takes some time to get used to it.
