Okay, so you could be reading this page for either of the two reasons – You are someone who is religiously concerned about fitness, gym and workout and want to look for some exercises that you can do at home on the days you’re skipping gym for any reason OR you are someone who just don’t like the idea of going to gym and are looking for workouts that are easy to do at home. So, we’ve compiled a list of some effective workouts that you can do at home itself:

Squat to Press

Its one of the best lower body exercise that requires your shoulder strength too. Hold a 10 pound dumbbell, lift it up and then go to the squat position. Your feet should be pointing forward and try creating pressure over your calves.

Lunge to Bicep Curl

So it’s basically a combination of lower body blast and upper body curls. Start with both feet together then take a step forward and bend down with your knees at 90 degrees. Curl the 10 pond dumbbell closer to your chest when going down and then drop them down when exiting from the lunge position.

Plank Walk

This basically requires as much space as your height. A sort of plank variation its masters your core stability. Start in a push up position with your hands straight and your head focused down to the ground. Now holding plank position start walking with your toes pressed against the ground.

Sumo jumps Squats

Want to let your heart burn a little? Well this exercise will seriously create some calorie deficit in your body. Start with your feet hip width apart and then bend on your knees until a 90 degree angle is made. Now jump as high as you can with your hands down when ending and parallel to the ground when you jump. Land on your legs placed hip width apart.

Cross Crunches

This creates a challenging ab workout for you. Start with lying on your back in a superman position. Now, lift your right leg off the floor in combination with bending your knee. Simultaneously touch the elbow of your left hand to your right knee. Repeat the same with the other leg.

Side Chops

This exercise targets your hand triceps and gluteus. Its very easy and you can do it in your home without any equipments.

Squat Burpee

Well obviously burpee is what completes workouts. This high intensity exercise burns fat much faster than other exercises. Start with bending your knees almost hip width apart, in a squat position with your hands on the ground. Now with your hands intact, shift in a push up position. Go back again to the same bending knees position with your hands now away from your body parallel to the floor.

High Rows

Well this exercise is very simple and strengthens your core too. This can be done using very minimal equipment in your home. Watch the video above.

It’s not necessary that only workouts with equipments could be rewarding. Workouts can change from time to time. While these workouts are ideal for the time you’re not willing to go to the gym, their fruits are similar to those achieved by your gym sessions.
